My children were recentlyt diagnosed with ADD, after researching and evaluations I realized I have just ablout all of the symptoms myself. I would really love to get help and treatment but unfortunatly, I do not have health benefits time, due to cutbacks at my place of employment health plans were cut back. my question is, does anyone know of a way that I can get some help? The evaluation alone is very expensive and being a single mom I just cant afford the evaluation. I could make payments but most places I have contacted want payment entirely up front. ANyone with any ideas please feel free to contact me.
thanks Maria

If you can't get financing, can you Ask a Psychologist for a Lay-away plan?

PS. My College has student disability Bursaries, thru the Province [state] for ADD testing. It is super expensive!

Call the disability office of a College near you, perhaps? Ask if Post-Secondary students can get "Learning Disability" testing.
