Hey guys,

I just wanted to share how much things have changed for me over the last month. I started taking both Paxil (anxiety) and Concerta (attention problems) 4 weeks ago, and I feel great! Gone are the days of feeling bad for sitting around wasting time trying to get into 'focus-mode' at work. Gone are the sudden fits of anger. Gone are the stomache aches from over-eating.

My productivity at work has skyrocketed from about 2 productive hours a week to over 40 hours a week. My appetite has been supressed a bit, but in addition to eating less (I was a compulsive over-eater), I am also THINKING about my food selections and am eating better. The only downside is that I'm completely wiped out by 10pm, where I used to stay up until after midnight on a regular basis.

Overall I feel more level-headed and 'normal'. Actually, I feel much better than 'normal', as if I've finally reached my potential. I'm seeing my doctor today, and I plan to ask her to leave my meds right where they are.

Thanks for letting me rave here, because none of my friends/family/coworkers know about my situation, and I needed to share my good feelings with someone.

Timboni, I agree with Joan. I'm now on Lexapro and Ridalin and I went through the same thing as you did. But I found out I can stay up on the weekends better than the weekdays due to all the "attention" I'm giving at work vs my weekend off.

Way to go, by the way!!
