I tried Eon's IR for about 10 days. HATED IT. It's hard to explain, but something just didn't feel right. Plus I had horrible headaches with it that I don't have with XR. I have no side effects at all with XR.

you could try dextroamphetamine spansules. They are extended release and are generic.

I think the malinkrodt tablets were better than the barr tablets im taking now but I may change my mind in the days to come since im fairly new in taking the barr tablets.

Abrika and malinkrodt tablets are use by must people around here, less side effects
and a lot of people dislike barr tablet
I guess every metabolism is different
I just got my prescription, I will decide between Abrika and malinkrodt

Thank you all

Some people react differently to generics while others don't (I'm in the latter group).

There's no guarantee that you'll get different side effects from one generic Adderall to the next. Just gotta try 'em to see how you react.

I prefer the Eon labs tabs - my biggest problem with the mallinckrodt tabs is that I have to split one for my am dose, and the mallinckrodt tabs crumble badly. (so if you need to split a tab stay away from these!) Those are the only two I have had.

...i agree with ayla...even though i like the mallinkrodt tablets, they do crumble badly....stay away from these if you cut your tablets at all...the barr tablets split pretty cleanly for me...

I take 60mg/day. Tried eon, ranbaxy, shire, and Mallinckrodt. Barr was like a placebo, eon and shire felt the same (slow and long lasting) and ranbaxy and mallinckrodt felt the same (potent but short). Hope that helps somebody. I am extremely in tune with my body and have tried each for at least 60 days.

i like the ranbaxy and the mallinckrodt. i usually take the ranbaxy because i have to drive too far to get the other. the barr is like a placebo for me. the other nice thing about the ranbaxy is it is scored in quarters which makes it nice to dose apart if you need to!
