hey! I was so scared by stuff I have read on the internet.. that I had an EKG done.. I was on adderall xr for three years.. my EKG was perfect! HORRAY! My blood pressure and heart rate were also always normal on it..
I did go off for two years, (after the three years of use) because I wanted to see what I could do without medication.. I did ok, but it was definitely a challenging two years as far as focus and motivation goes.. also, I was very fatigued because my body got so used to a stimulant.. that is something one needs to think about if they are considering medication..
I just recently went back on meds.. decided to try concerta.. but it gave me scary enlarged pupils! weird.. also a headache behind the eyes.. I went to the ER cause my pupils wouldn't move at all, or respond to light.. anyone else have this? they were so big there was just a small ring of color around them.. so the er doctor told me to stop it right away..
now I am back on good old adderall XR.. like it so much better than concerta.. my pupils still seem bigger, but maybe I just notice them more now.. anyone else have this with adderall?
thanks guys!:) really happy to find this community:)
Cheers, Rachel
