hi everyone..
i just got on meds today...
first day on adderall-xr 10mg in the morning..

for the record:
i feel 'raceir', no wonder they call this 'speed' ...
i can feel my heart beat..
i feel i need to do things fast...

slightly wierd..not much..(maybe its just that i am concious that i am on meds)

the 2 day was uneventful

the third day, i noticed the following things...
1. loss of appetite - i would rather put it as i could put off eating without getting the urges to eat.. though when i ate i could eat well
2. i played raquetball and the hand-eye co-ordination was much better but i felt more exhausted than the usual..
3. a slight preassure in the head...something seems to be pressing somewhere.
4. yes! better focus.. but so far i have been focussing on things that i like. i will be trying out how it works for things that i dont..
5. sleeplessness.. i sleep late and get up early.. have control the urge to do that and get good 6 hours of sleep...
6. feel a lot more optimistic! rather than my usual negative approach...

a couple of questions..
1.should i increase the dose if i feel this is going good.?? (the doc gave an auto-adjustment upto 2X10mg tabs in the morning for adderall XR after 3 days..)

2. withdrawal symptomps.. does the drug wear off???.. like yesterday when i was awake till 4.00am in the morning, i began to feel really wierd.. with my head swimming and a strong sense of being inside a MRI scanner... (if u have been in one u will know what i am talking about, )

3. comments on long term effect...? after the 'withdrawal' feeling i am suddenly worried about it.. i did ask the doc n she said 'minimal' and failed to elaborate on that other than sleeplessness and lack of appetite...
