I tried adderall and it changed my life. I only had 3 20mg pills because a friend gave me them when I ran out of ritalin. He said they would hold me over. So anyway, I took one. Then all of a sudden I realized my brain wasnt jumping from worried, to happy, to over analytical, to a million other subjects. I could actually concentrate! This is a new world to me, and I love it. I am out of it now, and I want more. I am scheduleing an appy to get adderall. This changes my life. I have never been able to stay focused on something for more than 10-15 minutes, and yesterday i actually read an entire book, AND finished up a website. I always procrastinate, or I will be workong on something and forget the point I was thinking of. Now I dont, its great~!

Ok, I'm not saying this to freak you out or anything, but PLEASE be careful on Adderall. The first day I took it, I had the same feelings as you, I felt amazing and I got so much done, but that pill very quickly became a nightmare, I was depressed, sad and hopeless, and this was over the course of a week! I dont want to discourage you, b/c my symptoms were rather rare, so maybe you wont have this experience, but I do know that the feelings you're having now wont last b/c if it works as it should, it will level out. Just thought you should know, but good luck with everything :)
Um, yes, it will make you feel that way at first.
It's called the "euphoric" stage some users go through. Its action is diffrent than ritalin, so you would feel that pretty strongly at first. But over time, that feeling will go away and you will be left most likely just as you are with ritalin. But if your not sure why not ask your doctor to change over for a month too see.

My question is, why would take it without your doctors ok? I mean, I would never let my son do that or any of us. Doctors prescribe according to weight etc. I also would not allow my son to give any of his to his friends. Not safe. He just started on it about 3 weeks ago.

Yep, I know what u mean 2busy, I am also on adderall. I felt the same way at first, the intensity wears off after some time, for me it a while though. Now when I take it I still feel focused, but not to the same degree that I felt it in the beginning.
