check-out line at the "department store" of life----your whole life? You don't notice where it says "returns" and you don't notice that everyone is carrying bags of stuff they don't want. I mean, you get to the counter and can't pay for whatever it is you wanted. So you can't take it home. All that careful shopping and getting excited over this and that---all mute. Cause you're in the wrong line.

So,yeah, I can go over to the other line, but then by the time I do that, the line is so long and the guy's put his "closed" sign up.

That's how I feel about, oh, every other day:)

SandiRella,

I not much of a shopper but I have driven 50 miles west when I wanted to go east. Drove through traffic lights (red) with out so much as touching the break. The only way I know is the yells from my passengers. Went into the ladies room and wondered what the hell is she doing in the men's room.

Yeah, I think if I shopped I get into the wrong lane.

Sho' nuff---I reckon!

Yeah, it's like, "okay, I'm on the porch holding a screwdriver and a hacksaw....but why?"

On my occasionally coherent days :), and I happen to see "others" like me in a store or wherever, I give them that knowing glance....its kinda like we're a secret (well, not alway so secret, ha) society..which is kinda cool...

SandiRella,

Yup, just did that the other day. Luckily the guy behind the counter took me. I was wondering why the lady in front of me was making a return at the regular counter. After the holidays, Target will use some of their regular registers for returns. I'm on line, thinking "Oh, wow. I didn't know we could make returns at this register too. I always wait online at the customer service returns counter. Next time I'll have to go to this line." Never did I think that I was on the wrong line!

The day before that I WAS actually on the right line and I walked away and went shopping in the store and left my keys at the counter. Couldn't start or get into my car when I was done!

Oh well, at least we all know that we are not alone! There are a lot of us walking around out there! LOL It's good to relate to other people here on this forum. :)

Sandi, that is so funny-makes you think, am I out here to tighten a screw on something or hurt someone with this saw. Either way, you are ready,if you can just remember which one?
