Ok, so I'm a recent college graduate and I'm trying to lose that freshman 15 er.. 20.. ok ok a wee bit more perhaps. I went into school a soccer player and came out too lazy to walk across campus. The only real working out I did was playing soccer or another intramural with my sorority. Ok I'm a bum.

Does anyone have any good recommendations or ideas regarding an exercise program that is easier to stick to, particularly with the ADD making me more likely to forget or get distracted?

Note: Currently I'm broke, but I can look into putting money into this as my job (that I'm sure I'll have soon) starts paying me.

Thanks!

Kickboxing

I once took a self defence class, where a lot of what we did was kickboxing, and by month 2, even the heaviest girls were toned, energized, and looked great....and it's a lot of fun kicking at things :-) Just don't slip and fall like I did--I was in a cast for 3 months!!

Ouch! Hope your recovery was mostly painless, and you didn't itch too much!

If you have a local ymca, which most cities do, they don't openly advertise it, but they have scholership programs to help you to pay your membership! Check it out! Hope this helps!

I really enjoy the pilates videos....I THOUGHT I WOULD HATE IT!! But it's actually pretty fun. I like Windsor Pilates but whatever works for you. Also I find running...either on a treadmill or outside to be great cuz with ADD I kinda hyperfocus once I start and I begin to compete with myself to do better than last day etc..

I just walk at our local park, it is free, doesn't take much thought ahead, and unless it is raining, I can always do it, and I learn to go pretty fast, I feel it in my hips and thighs, and plus it is a lift just getting out. Hope this helps.
