I'm having a horrid time! I went on drug holiday for about two weeks(its criminal that my school let out for break on Dec. 16th and then went right back in on Jan 3rd..UGH!..need more time! lol). Around the 26th I started having horrible pallpitations along with panic attacks (cause I figured I was dying). It went away after a while but my doctor who's in another state, told me under no circumstances to take the adderrall until I saw him again. I have mitral valve prolapse but it's non-symptomatic, so I'm hoping that it was just a flare up of that and had nothing to do with me taking the adderrall.

I have an appointment Monday morning, and I havent taken adderall since then. I feel like I'm going nuts! Schools back in and I can't focus, I feel exhausted, I can't remember what I'm going to the store to buy and driving home for break I got lost(I've made this drive TONS of time) because I was on autopilot and completely missed the exit! And I'm now terrified that I have an odd arrythmia or something caused my the adderall and the doc will take me off! Are there other non stimulant drugs that even work!? I was doing so well, and feeling like my "scatterbrained-ness" wasn't prohibiting me from being the best at school(and remembering to pay my bills/keeping my house clean/etc) that I could be . :confused:

I can't imagine a doctor prescribing Adderall to someone with a heart condition, but I also don't really know anything about your condition.

I just wanted to put in a word of encouragement to hang in there. I'm sure you'll find a solution. Beta-blocker perhaps?
