Hello there;

My Strattera dose (35mg) doesn't seem to be working very well anymore. Initially, it was like a virtual MIRACLE! When I go up to the 40mg, within a day or so I am depressed and lethargic and basically can't get out of bed. :rolleyes: *sigh*

I'm not willing to give up on the Strattera yet because of the incredible effects I had with it in the beginning. I have tried taking Concerta with it (made my focus WORSE than ever!), and am currently trying Adderall, which is also making me feel more scattered and a bit jittery too.:eyebrow:

I read on the 'crazymeds' site that l-tyrosine can sometimes be used to counter the lethargy-producing effects of Strattera, especially if Strattera is depleting one's norepinephrine.

Has anyone tried the combo of Strattera and l-tyrosine? Is l-tyrosine safe? Can it be purchased over the counter?

What are people's experiences with l-tyrosine?

THANKS!!:)

I have no experience with this, but I think you should be able to find it over the counter. I saw some in my Albertson's yesterday.
