I have read that the effects of Adderall last longer if you take magnesium supplements. So, I started taking magnesium with Adderall XR about a week and a half ago. At this point I can't tell any difference.

Has anyone else had any good, bad or indifferent experiences taking any types of supplements with Adderall?

The patient's insert lists and warns of some things that increase absorption. I don't think this is a good idea to try without asking your doctor.

I do plan to talk to my doctor about magnesium. However, I would still like to find out if any forum members have tried supplements with Adderall.
