My wife and I have a lot in common. The exception is TV shows and music.
Last night we watched TV together. Actually I watched TV and read a magazine concurrently to maintain my sanity. Three 1 hr shows ....
People and their horses
Law and Order - the one with Chris Noth
Crossing Jordan - BRRRRRRRRRRF
Let's illustrate my problem with Crossing Jordan. Gared's (I think is the character's name) daughter shoots a druggie who she is involved with. Then the suspense and drama is suspose to be who will get to her first - the druggies or Gared. Gared wins in the long run. Actually I see a good motif there for a real edge-sitting, nail-bitting show. BUT the characters are sooooooo shallow, the outcome is soooooooo predictable that mentally I had to reduce its length to 3 or 4 minutes by reading my mag.
Then, "they" wonder why I can't sit still.
I am seriously, I mean seriously, starting to believe we don't have the problem. The rest of the mankind is crazy. We are the sane ones.
I, am, serious!
