Today was my first day back in school after two weeks out because of surgery, so I went to talk to a principal at our school who handles accommodations for conditions like mine... Just in time too. During my discussion with him we reach an agreement that I didn't need much in the way of dealing with classwork and things, but I did need an arrangement for when I forgot to take my medicine or for when I was just having one of my bad days where I'm over-the-top impulsive. So he arranged for me to be able to "time-out" to Guidance so I could just sit and not have to interact with anyone, I could just listen to my mp3 player.
Although, I wanted to have a conversation with my geometry teacher about possible extra accommodations because I have a hectic home life and she assigns a large amount of work for home... Bear in mind, I'm RE taking this class, because I was so understimulated in there that I didn't do anything at all except cause problems for her, so she really didn't like me to start.
Not only did she flat out refuse to work with me, she was in the middle of telling me how I have a bad attitude and yadda yadda yadda, when that principal walked in to deliver the notes for my accommodations... BOY was she red in the face, I felt happy, lol.
