People at school treat me like i'm dumb or something and it's just because I have ADHD
I'm used to it, but I don't like it at all
Does anyone else get treated wierd?

My friends think it's funny, so they don't care too much.
The staff treats me different, but they kind of have to, I asked them to because I needed to be. Most of them treat me nicely, though, there are always exceptions.

I know exactly how it is. Ever since I was diagnosed last summer, my mom has put the maturity back about five or six years even though nothing has changed. Plus it really ****es me off when airhead girls say stuff like "OMG, I am like SO ADD today!" and "OMG I must be ADD because I can't find the answer to this problem!" They don't understand this disorder and they make fun of it...it makes me angry.

I know how you feel Atlantis, people say stuff like that all the time around me. I just don't let it get to me. I tell people really random stuff about how ADHD affects me and how bad it is and they go "wow, I didnt know that. Sorry dudette."
It's better for me if I verbalize my struggle so everyone knows, that way no one can make a joke and say "They didn't know" Just embrase yourself, tell yourself it's ok to be AD/HD!
Plus, having AD/HD makes us smarter then anyone else. You know how people with disorders end up having an IQ of like
1,000,000,000,000.
