So dexedrine has been giving me a puffy face reaction for the last year; sometimes not so badly, sometimes a little worst. I only now have found that they tell you this is an emergency and to seek emergency health care.

Have I been screwing myself up all this time? The puffy face is supposed to indicate an allergic reaction I believe, what damage could you be doing to yourself?

What has your Doctor said about these you having a year's worth of these reactions?

-Are you on Prednisone or Cortisone? (can cause facial edema)
-Are you on any other drugs or supplements or herbals?
-I'll assume you are not pregnant? (rule out eclampsia; can cause facial edema)
-Do you have a history of Heart Problems? Kidney Problems?
-Swelling anywhere else? Itching? Redness?

Has your doc been doing your EKGs and other Blood Tests while you are on Dex?

What does your doctor say?

Is the reaction worsening as you use Dex?

Can you breathe? Is your throat closing up?
