Are there any adult ADD/ADHD conventions in the US? I would love to go to a convention and be around people with ADD, who actually understand it from experience.

Yes!!! There is one this coming May in Orlando Florida. More info can be found at www.add.org (http://www.add.org). This will be my 4th ADDA conference and they are really a lot of fun.

In the interests of equal-handedness, I should also note that CHADD (chadd.org) while founded as a group for ADD parents offers workshops in adult ADD at its yearly meetings. Since my own kids are now grown, I haven't kept up with them as much recently, so can't speak to current activities.
