I was with someone, I still think, is the greatest woman of all time and she now is off to school and wants to be alone to find herself. Our engagement is off and I am happy for her finding all these worderful things about herself and am alone and miserable in a town where all anyone wants to do is screw and get drunk (not necessarily in that order)

What an awful thing to have happen to you! And you know that's one of those things you can't predict either.
