[Disclaimer: I'm sorry if this was posted before, I'm new the the forums so if there is already a thread on this topic please direct me to it.]

Anyways, I'm just wondering if anybody else as the same experience as I have. Since I'm so disorganized due to my ADHD I love how organized my girlfriend is. Does anybody else tend to find boyfriends or girlfriends who are far more organized than you are? I'm sure most of you have trouble starting small tasks (like cleaning, doing the dishes, etc) but I've found that since my girlfriend tends to enjoy doing those tasks it makes it easier for me to help her and we finish in far less time than when I clean my apartment myself. This seems to be true for other things as well, like organizing my check book, paying bills, etc.

Anybody else share these experiences?

YES!!!! My gf is super orgoanized in about every way. All I can do is marvel at her ability because there is no way that I (king of chaos) can get anywhere near that level of organization. I sure envy that ability and wish that I could have it too.

I'm ADD and my boyfriend isn't and I don't know if I'm alone in this but I feel like it's not okay to be disorganized and be a girl. Even though he is way more organized than me he still just kind of expects me to have events planned and stuff. I know that my mom is super organized and my dad is ADD so maybe it's just a pressure I put on myself and I should ask him for more help. I dunno but interesting post!!

It's ok ADDrift, I'm a girl who's disorganized, too. My husband is more organized, I think. But it's work-related. Everything else is done as it was done as a bachelor. Which actually wasn't that bad. But I'm a busy mom and my home looks like a hobbit-hole.

yep, me too. I feel the same. It's not ok for a girl to be disorganized.
I'm not totally disorganized. But I can tolerate messiness for a long time before I take action cleaning. I don't make my bed, what's the point? I'll sleep again at night.

My bf is organized. He makes his bed every morning prefect just like hotel-style. What's wrong w/ him? He makes me feel guilty about not being organized.
