School has been pretty rough for me all of these years im a juinor in high school and it hasnt gotten any better. Ive alway's hated school not for the fact that I love to learn but the jerk kids that I put be down and tell me that im stupid because im in special Ed. I was recently diagnosed with NVLD and it sucks. I also wrestle and play football I never get anything right and im always considered a screw up or a special needs kid , its terrible. Ive done terrible on the SAT's and my colleges are limited and im not doing well in school.Im considering a future Job in the military but I dont know if I can do it with my situation.
For what it's worth, college is a lot lot better for the ADD/ADHD mind. In high school, my hyperactivity made it very difficult for me to sit still for 7-8 hours of classes. In college, you can schedule it to where most days you only have 3 classes, 4 at the most. You can also try to schedule them, especially when you're an upperclassmen, for the best times of day for you. I never took early classes in the winter, for example. Hang in there, you might surprise yourself. My GPA went WAY up in college with the increased freedom!!
I loved college. I did okay , for the most part. I think that if I had realized that I had ADHD and gotten some appropriate medication going I would have done better....but I have no complaints.
I picked up three degrees and had a great experience.

High school ranks as the single lamest thing I've ever had to do.
College on the other hand, was one of the most fun things I've ever done.
They no longer talk to you/treat you like you're in K.
Hang in there.:)

College was definetly better than high school- for me it was like the ugly duckling story.
Two things that made this difference:
I really loved my major
My classmates were more open minded, so being a little bit eccentric was actually cool...
