A lot of people feel that way, but I think that you jst exaggerate your own ADD after you've had medicine. You've seen the alternative, you know how much better you CAN be, an then you relapse into ADD dom and if feels worse than it really is.

rebound effect. It's common with most medications for most conditions. What's really odd, though, is what would occasionally happen back when I was still taking the IR tabs instead of XR. Sometimes as the first dose was wearing off, and right after I took the second dose, I'd be in a sort of semi-focused, semi-add state. The best way to describe it was one night when a friend came over and we went out to dinner and then off to the bar. When we left my place, it was just after I'd taken the second dose, and I was half forgetting things, I'd start to walk out without something important and remember it once we'd walked out of the house. Sans meds, I would have kept walking, and with meds, I would have not forgotten it, but we wound up walking out and back in and out and back in a half dosen times for things I'd forgotten.

LOL, yeah that's what I find inbetween doses as well. It's a shame the long acting meds are so expensive.

I found this to be a much bigger problem with Ritalin than with Dexedrine.

Second that. I had terrible rebounds on Ritalin.......not nearly as much so on Dex.

I used to have bad come down too, my adderall crash were terrible, I felt edgy, depressed, moody, anxious...but theses side effects decrease with time and with the help of Attend (that's a homeopathic medicine), I saw that it help to deacrease my adderall crash. I didn't felt so down when my daily dose of adderall start to wear off at the end of the day but I'm out of Attend and now when I crash I start to feel down again but I'm suppose to get my Attend package soon, well I hope so!

Someone mention that the adderall crash are no so bad, it's just that we felt good all day with the help of med and when the adderall start to wear off we come back to our old add/adhd self and it's hard to deal with but it's not that bad, we are just back to our ADD/ADHD self! For me this is more then just being back to my ADD self, it was worst then my usual ADD, I felt edgy, anxious, depressed and so on but like I said with time theses side effects decrease and with the help of Attend I was more able to deal with my adderall crash!

A friend who was scripted Desoxyn (Methylamphetamine Hcl) tabs 4-5mg Ir tabs 20mgs 2x daily, inferior Able labs brand,- said they ALWAYS worked, as opposed to Ritalin- crashed very heavily after 6 hrs, and felt ansty and yak after they wore off, not surprising, when it's Methylamphetamine!-the king of stimulants!.

Yes when my adderal wears off and I am at work, I get confused, cannot think clearly at all. It is worse that no meds at all. I also take 1 welliburtin
300 mg once a day. But when they wear off, some evenings I can just lay
down and be asleep as soon as I get in from work. _7-730PM. So I really
try to space the meds out, and just get a little sleepy in the day when it
wears off. No sleeping problems with me. I actually sleep better now that
before the adderal.

Also the ER adderal only lasts -4 hours for me. (not 10-12 as stated)/
So I take the generic through out hey day as needed, in 10 mg pills, sometimes spliting them if needed. For a total of 30 mg. a day. I just started on Cymbalta. I think it is affecting the adderal, I know 30 mg a day was not working as well as it was 6 months ago, but now since the Cymbalta I hardly feel the effects of better focus, better concintration, motivation etc..
that I used to get with adderal. I have been taking Cymbalta for 1 1/2 months. (all 3 meds) I think I might have to get my meds adjusted. I weigh 125 do they do this by weight. I can take a 20 mg. EX adderal and lay down and sleep for 6-8 hours. Same with generic.
How do they dose? Both docs I have seen don't seem to understand
the rebound or hangover effect or just how bad it can feel. :confused:
