I got out again today and took more photos. Had a lot of fun playing with this one - cropped and changed the image to it's negative -

And I call this one

OMG, I want what you are on :-) They are great!
I keep looking around for a nice flower so I can take one too, but being summer here all I can find is dying bush grass, and boring boring beach plants....I will get one of it kills me :-)

LOL!
I know just how you feel! The second I saw my plum tree bloom I pounced!
I'm really glad you like the photos. :D
It's actually a tiny flower from a plum tree and it was awful fun to play with in Paint Shop.
Macro photography amazes me so much because I get to see things in my photos that I can't see with my naked eye (not that I go around with my eyes all naked!).
I love those photo games where the image is an extreme close up and you have to guess what it is - like where a few tooth brush bristles look like giant pillars.
I need macro lenses so I can take a bunch of those. :D

That would be great, then we could play "guess what?"
I did take a few pictures of dying roses as I was getting desperate to take a shot, but then I found a lone bud just opening, so I took that too!! I left my cables at work so I can't even play with the photos. I can't wait until the next TULIP festival... it's a few months away but I will put it on my calander! I have never ever wanted to go to a tulip festival until now! LOL
