ADHDDeeJay,

I knew of a website that would give actual amounts per can. Below is the combined figure for all omega 3 FA.

Light tuna in Oil,drained - 216 mg/can
Light tuna in water, drained, - 461 mg /can
White tuna in oil, drained - 443 mg /can
White tuna in water, drained - 1514 mg/can

You can search for the amount in any food via this website.

Hope that helps!

Yeah thanks,

Im not a BIG fan of tuna..

Hints the reason why I take a vitamin instead. The whole strong smell of tuna really gets to me.

But doesnt mean that I dont eat fish...

That is much more than I expected! The gels hold very little in comparison. Thanks for digging that up

I'd be cautious with Tuna. They are bottom feeders and full of toxic metals. I eat salmon which is a lot better .. but I wouldn't say it's the best either. Food for thought.

You know, i hear from people how toxic Tuna is. I eat it about three times a week. I"m okay...as far as I know anyway.

It may catch up to you though. There are some metals detox recipes out there. I have one somewhere. I'll have to dig it out again.
