After reading one of my adult ADD books I researched and purchased my first Pocket PC. I posted a review with Amazon too. The unit is now under $200 after the $50 mail-in-rebate. I added Pocket Informant, a personal organizer that lets me color code my appontments and tasks. It does not have bluetooth capability but it is not needed unless you want to go wireless (try model 1945 if you need it).

It has an MP3 player, voice recorder, syncs with MS Outlook, and it quite easy to operate.

I call it my lifesaver because I can set an alarm for any task or appointment and no longer forget appointments or substitute jobs. I no longer have to worry about losing paper notes and my contact information is always up to date and easy to edit.

The reasonable price of this unit makes it affordable to many more people. It is very useful for student's class schedules and assignment deadlines.

I am never without Biomorph, or maybe I should name her Abby Normal.

Why did you choose the h1935 instead of Palm's Tungsten T|E?

I lost my trusty Palm V three months ago and I'm deciding between the h1935, the T|E, and the Dell Axim X5.

Consider this an open letter to the PDA manufacturers: the first company to develop a unit capable of delivering a near-fatal electric shock to any unauthorized users gets my business! It should also have a built-in GPS for quick location once movement stops.

Features and compatability were my key reason. The aesthetics and price were the others.

This is a beautiful, reasonably priced (currently offered with a $50 rebate) unit that fits nicely in my hand. The featuresare listed below:

MP3
Voice recorder
Pocket Word
HP product-I have never had problems with any HP item I have owned and their support is great!
Expandable with SD Cards
Compatible with Outlook and Windows
Handwriting recognition-not Graffiti that requires using specialized symbols to write with

Ask not what you can do to your PDA but what your PDA can do for you. I don't want to have to defend my choice-my iPAQ meets my needs and that is enough.

the only thing i dont like about the 1900 series is that they only have 16 megs of rom so that some apps have to be installed in the Ram that in 32 or 48 meg models are installed in rom, also the flash rom is not execute in place, so the handheld device has to load the entire os to ram instead of running from rom. that is why it claims it is a 64 meg device when you only have 56
