Have you been living a life filled with overexaggerated social concern? Do you have problems communicating in a direct manner, and in turn, do you resort to other forms of communicating, such as non-verbal communication or lying? Has you life been plagued with narrow interests, such as sex, drugs, money, or conformity? Has the relatively small size of your brain as compared to an autistic person's brain made you depressed? If so, you may be suffering from neurotipicalism, a serious disorder that only your doctor may diagnose.

Neurotipicalism is a serious disorder and it must not be taken lightly. Neurotipicalism is also a very common disorder. Sadly, 9625 in 10000 people are suffering from neurotipicalism, today. To see if you may be neurotipical, take the online NT test here (http://isnt.autistics.org). NT is a very treatable disorder. If you suffer from Neurotipicalism, with treatment, you may become an HFNT (high functioning neurotipicalistic).

I've taken the test before on hunnybees site. I don't think you're going to find too many NT's around here! Don't forget that ADD & autism are related disorders.

I find that the entire site of the "Institute for the Study of the Neurologically Typical" to be quite humorous in general. I, of course, scored 10 of 10 on the test, so I must be safe!

Yeah, know what you mean. I think it would be terrible to only see life from the NT perspective. Blindness would be the way I'd put it. They can't seem to see what's right in front of them and they're too arrogant to care. They seem to think that the autistic person should have to try and relate to them yet the thought doesn't occur to them, to try and relate to the autistic person. Stupid if you ask me!

I love it! :D But obviously I need help, as I only scored 8 out of 10.

I really wish there were anti-swarming inhibitors to prevent NTs from jumping on the latest bandwagon every freakin' time . I find the mob mentality very frightening ... and I still just don't get it.

Mobs are indeed frightening... I think it's an ancient instinct hunter vs. farmer thing... farmers went to war en masse, where hunters tended to stalk and escape alone or in small groups... and my experience in gaming tells me that a team ALWAYS defeats an individual...

I'm fed up with dealing with NT's at the moment. They don't seem to understand anything I say and appear to deliberately misinterpret me and if I don't do what they want or agree with them they resort to intimidation. I was supposed to meet with my rehab provider who is a psychologist yesterday but I cancelled it and I told her that I just don't want to deal with normal people at the moment and that I wasn't going to work this week incase I strangles someone. I'm just so fed up with having to explain myself to people who can't seem to see what's right in front of them. Why are they so blind?

i took the test, and things don't look good:

"Your score: 7 out of 10. You show some signs of Neurotypic Disorder. You may want to be evaluated by a qualified autistic to determine whether or not your neurotypic tendencies warrant intervention."

damn this life experience that has taught me how to "wing it"...
;-)

now i almost feel *glad* i'm suffering from a concussion (spelling!;-) after having tripped over the vacuum cleaner on monday!
