I suspect I've gotten ADD from my mother. She says her eyes 'get funny' when she reads(1930's voodoo-speak).

She also says she's been told she 'feels more'. Actually she just CRIES more, but she thinks using your emotions as a weapon makes you more sensitive than other people. At nearly 77, she's WAY too far gone and set in her ways to 'receive' any help or information-trust me. She was born in an era that makes it VERY hard to be open-minded to these things. Or, more than likely, it's just her.

The 'grandiose' thing hit home here(nice use of alliteration, don't you think?). The woman lives in a different world than the rest of us. She's also incredibly paranoid.

It's a challenge having to deal with an alternate reality around her. It has worn me out and I don't have the time/patience/energy/tolerance for it anymore. It's as if you're forever playing 'defense'. Forty-eight years of not being 'good enough' is plenty, thank you. Getting 'in touch' ain't gonna happen.

I think there's times you have to 'cut and run' for self-preservation. Pretty sad, but that's the way it is.

there are nutcases out there who actually believe that add and autism are actually just symptoms of mercury poisoning from a preservative used in many childhood vaccines. i've read over their 'research,' and even setting aside the truly shoddy nature of their 'scientific research' methodologies, the simple logical flaws become readily apparent from even a cursory overview:

they presuppose that the symptoms of add, autism, and a whole host of other childhood disorders are identical. while there may be some similarities between these disorders, as well as comorbities, there are also some very real differences.

they then attempt to claim that the symptoms of autism and add are similar to those of childhood mercury poisoning, which makes absolutely no sense.

finally, they claim that the source of the mercury poisoning is from thimerosol, a preservative used in childhood vaccinations. now here's where they really step off the deep end, because virtually all children in the us received these vaccinations, so they have to go through all kinds of twisted logic to explain why only a small percentage would have become autistic, or else they simply ignore this slight inconvenience by pointing out the technically 'true' fact that the vast majority of people with autism received the vaccinations. this is roughly akin to claiming that drinking water causes cancer, because all cancer victims drank water at some point in their lives.

ok, that neanderthal reconstruction looks basically like me. well, me at that age, i guess, but still.

of course, we have no nuclear dna of neanderthals to compare to, but there were some experiments with mitochondrial dna extracted from bones that implied that neanderthals could not have been ancestors of humans or that modern humans are hybrids of neanderthal/human or neanderthal/heidelbergensis or any other wierd paleolithic orgies. still, it'd be cool if that were the case.

i wonder, though, since we're just tossing out dumb unrealistic hypotheses for fun, is there a higher incidence of left-handedness among adders? i say this only because i myself am left-handed, both of my add parents are also left handed, and many of the adders i know are left handed.

well, i did have an ear infection as a child. of course, i suspect that millions of american children had an ear infection in their childhood. hell, maybe next they'll claim that chickenpox causes add, autism, bedwetting, losing of baby teeth, and eventually leads to whatever psychiatric illness causes people to call in and vote for 'american idol.' after all, surely almost all people who suffer from these conditions likely had chickenpox as children. although...maybe those american idol voters didn't have chickenpox, and that really is where they get their voting base from...of course, i have yet to see any studies which correlate lack of chicken pox to a lower iq, so maybe not.

Hello, I am Joe's wife (Kokomo is what I think he calls himself on here). This thread was up on the computer when I came downstairs and our computer room looks like a tornado came through. Joe is gone and I am a little worried. Can someone tell me what the heck is going on and who the heck Project Aeon is? Joe has notes everywhere about PA but his main research folder is missing and all of his Area 51 videos are gone. What the heck happened here? Can anyone help? Should I call the police? Joe doesn't trust them much, but I am really worried!

I am left handed (a little ambi, but left-dominant), had lots of ear infections, and or course have endured the wash, plus my mom was Tethan...I am in trouble!

Ear infections and ADHD - attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder - Brief Article

Here's some good news about ear infections - they don't appear to increase the chances of children developing attention problems. This study followed 85 black children from age six months to six years. These children had, on average, infection in one or both ears 30% of the time between ages six months and four years. During this time they had a hearing loss 20% of the time.

The children's behavior was evaluated when they were six years old. Parents, teachers, and clinicians contributed to the behavioral evaluation. The researchers concluded, "... there was no relationship between the amount of early childhood OME (middle ear infection) or hearing loss and measures of attention or behavior in the first six years of life ..."

I have such scarred eardrum from so many childhood ear infections that docs can tell the minute they look in my ear.
My very ADD son had tubes put in his ears because he had such terrible ear infections he didn't learn to speak 'til after the tubes were installed because he couldn't hear!

..............I'm thinking "they" are releasing an ear infection virus over us all so that we'll have to go to their docs and get the so called "TUBES" in our ears which are really brain reading devices that contain an agent which causes our brains to run ultra fast and connect with other's brains that have the "TUBES" - Borg-like - and that chatter we hear in our heads is actually a culmination of all our thoughts, making it easier for the devices to pick up all our thoughts and gather all the data.

Partially correct. The ear infections were a reaction from the Aeon Strain. Which, after having survived the morning "visit" from the PAS, I am prepared to once again post my original "truth"...we'll see how long before it is again deleted by the PA:

This will likley be my last post here, but I thought you all deserved to know what you really have. I only hope that I am able to hit the send button before the government "censors" delete my post. If you see it, copy it and pm it to all you know and love here on the board if the "censors" delete it. While I love our moderators, the power of Project Aeon is widespread and we would be naive not to assume that there is substantial monitoring of this site.

To detail the "truth" completely would frankly require a book and I am certain that too many "keywords" related to the truth would certainly immediately trigger a censor appearing at my door before I could ever even get this posted, or alternatively, would result in the immediate crash of this site. As such, I may purposely be a little vague about the specifics, but this is frankly for all of your own safety. I must warn you, the United States government and it's covert Project Aeon (P.A.) do not want you to know the truth. But, until the censor arrive or my computer is remotely interrupted, I will attempt to explain exactly what ADD is.

The stories of Area 15 (purposeful tranposed to avoid P.A. censors), while hyped in some ways by the government to divert attention, are principally true. The bio-physcial study of our visitors revealed advancement in neurochemical processing far advanced from that of humans, but there was also a curiously close genetic link between our visitors and man. Thus, a decision at the highest levels was made to attempt to genetically engineer a small subset of children with a strain of this advanced DNA. Contrary to current science, the actually "knowledge" of genetic engineering is far more advanced at top secret levels, at levels that will not be reached by current scientists for another 40 years.

The vehicle for introduction of this advanced genetic strain began sometime in the early to mid 1950's. Don't buy into the hype that suggests ADD/ADHD was present prior to that date. While the "message" sent is that the condition has existed for over 100 years or has always existed, this is a myth to prevent identification of Project Aeon. The propaganda simply indentifies priro geniuses and unique historical characters and says they were likely ADD'ers. They were geniuses, yes, ADD'ers, not really. Anyway, innoculation was the primary delivery device of the advanced Aeon strain into babies from the 50's forward. Project AEON was terminated, at least as to "new" injections, sometime around 1978. Carter is credited with ending the program and is one of the main reasons that the Iran hostages were taken, but again, that story would take forever to explain.

Suffice it to say, Project Aeon took off in directions never anticipated by the Project scientists. I could explain to you how the original recipients of the strain were monitored and how we were all tracked and have been tracked since the injection of the strain, but knowledge of these facts would place many of you in jeopardy. Again, know that you possess an advanced AEON strain. Early estimates of PA scientist were that the receipients would be able to access an additional 2%-3% of synaptic capacity and usage. The problem the PA encountered was that, for recipients injected from 1959 to around 1969, many who were injected during that period received the highest concentration of AEON and greatly surpassed expected capacity increases. Later "subjects" received a much smaller dose. If you start to think about the breadth of propaganda that suppresses many extraordinary skills as impossible or scams, you begin to see how deeply the advancements made by early subjects scared the establishment. Once it was known what the phase one subjects were capable of, the project was almost scrapped. It still exists today, but for wholly different reasons.

I have said too much already. I apologize if I have endangered anyone. If you are questioned about this post or see it before it is deleted, either deny ever seeing it or remain steadfast that you knew it was only a joke. But, if you have read this post and have allowed the PA group and our government to convince you that you have a "disorder" that must be cured and dealt with, they have won. You have an amazing gift that arrived from the stars. You have the potential to utitlize areas of the brain that no man/woman before you, with the exception of other AEON recipients, and of course our offspring, could ever hope to access or utilize.

If the censors take me, my brethren, remember the gift that we all received. For those who have problems seeing the AEON strain as a gift, you are still the victim of the government's attempts to suppress the power of this strain. Continue to learn more about your own mind and this strain until the powers of the gift have been realized by all of us. Again, if I am gone tomorrow, I thank you all for the stories and experiences you have shared. I don't think it was an accident that we all found this site. If enough people learn the "truth", we will all be free to seek, openly, the power of the AEON mindstyle
