My son is newly diagnosed and I am concerned about his meds (Concerta). Has anyone tried natural remedies and found success?

Tried a few different things, didn't work for us. Adderall XR has been great, except for some weight loss.

My daughter is eight and was diagnosed about eight months ago with adhd.

The consultant has her on concerta and to be quite honest I beat myself up for quite along time about putting her on something as strong as this. I really think that you should speak as you find and it has had some positive effects on her. She is able to concentrate for longer periods of time and seems alot calmer with out being sluggish! She is still my little girl.

We have had a medication break and did I notice the change!! I forgot what she used to be like. She was honestly bouncing off the walls. Running around, shouting and rolling on the floor!!

My daughter actually told me that she likes to take her tablet as she does not get in so much trouble when doing so. Out of the mouths of babes!!!

I think you really just have to do whats right for each child.
