Is there a difference between generic and brand name Ritalin? I ask because I have been on generic before, and all it did was make me sweat and feel cold, and sometimes made my joints sore.

I have never tried brand name drugs before because they are always more expensive. I have heard rumors that Ritalin is more dangerous to your health than Adderall. But that would be a rumor running rampant because of the length of time it has been around.

Generally speaking, is there any more risk associated with taking Ritalin / Concerta vs. Adderall? Please leave out comments concerning addiction, as that is a problem with someones ability to control themselves, rather than a danger of the drug.
