Hi guys! Long time now talk to, i hope everyone is well. I have a question for ya'll. I was taking the Barr generic and while it had some horrible side affects when I "crashed" at the end of the day, I was a thousand percent more motivated and got tons of work done. I went to my school pharmacists and she said she could give me the Ranaxby version for nearly half of what I was paying for the Barr at Target. I've been taking it for about two weeks now and I feel like I'm taking water...seriously, theres little to no affect and if there is it wears off in an hour or two. Has anyone had this experience with the Ranaxby? Should I go to my doc and tell him i want to "trade" in the pills for a new script? This is exam time and I'm freaking out because my mind is everywhere! Thanks!

it had the opposite affect on me. I think the ranbaxy you are getting could be expired and therefor inaffective. most people say the barr has less affect. that was my experience. I liked the ranbaxy better than the pills from shire (brand name).

the barr was crap for me too. the ranbaxy worked pretty well for me. it kept me alert and focused. i didnt crash on it like i did on the barr. i didnt have to take as much of it either. right now i am trying the adderall XR and i am not that impressed with it as i thought i would be. it seems that the IR keeps me much more alert and focused. i feel like a zombie on it. kinda like i did on the concerta.
