Well- hello everyone,

I am amazed, overwhelmed (as I often am) by this site. I'm AD/HD recently diagnosed- 40 with two kids. I've known something was up for a long time but I had no idea this would be it- I really wish I had known sooner before my life went upside down. Ah well, live and learn!!!

I don't know what more to say other than I GET IT...DAMN FOR THE FIRST TIME I GET IT ALL. The racing thoughts, the multi-tasking, the boundless amounts of opinions I can form on any subject, the constant over thinking, the inability to complete or follow thru without struggle, the extreme sensitivity, the empathy I have for others that I never seem to get in return. All I can say is WOW.

I've been wondering around the boards and I'm thrilled to see all the intellectualism, the thoughts and the energy. I can't wait to jump in and see what I can learn.
