Never again will I take my second dose of adderall XR 20 mg at 330 pm! I figured since I took my first dose around 1030 am which is kinda late for me that it would be okay to take the second dose later too. Wellllll its 1230 at night and I have to get up for school at 6 and here I am still awake. I laid in bed for an hour and a half and just could not sleep.

This is weird though, I've been on adderall XR for almost a month now and Ive never really got this insomnia feeling. Hopefully the reason it happened is because I took my 2nd pill a little later than I usually do. If this is some new side effect thats going to constantly happen, I'm going to be really mad!

it's definitely b/c you took that second dose at 3:30.
that's why I hate XR, I can take a 20mg IR at 6pm & be asleep by midnight.

Yes the same thing happened to me last week. I took a 15 xr at 3pm. Never doing that again! BE careful also that you dont drink a lot of caffeine late at night also.

maybe need to space them out more maybe insroina will be lesss dorm
