Does anyone know?
I can't get in to the doc b/c of work and I'm feeling really out of the loop :(
I can't seem to concentrate enough to find it on the internet either. Thanks guys...
I'm not finding a lot of information regarding this but there are a few mentions of insomnia, irritability, headaches, depression, etc. Most of the information that I have found is regarding epilepsy and it is highly recommended NOT to stop due to convulsions, etc.
I know this isn't much help but I would suggest that you consult your doctor and ask if he/she can help you find another source for your medication.
I wish you all the best; I know this is a difficult time. Wish I could be of more help :(
Jami,
Your health is the most important factor in your life.
No optimum health- no 'anything'.
Call your Doc and set up the earliest appointment you can get, and tell your work, that you have to doctor's appointment that you have to attend to !
One of my meds is Depakote ER for my TLE- but I don't have the luxery to stop taking it..so I'm sorry I can't help you about the withdrawal side effects.
I do know that you're NEVER supposed to stop taking Depakote (or any anticonvulsant meds) just like that (if that's what happened-if not- I apologize), for Bipo-Dis, without prior approval of your Doc.
Call your Doc, explain what's going on, and get yourself the earliest appointment possible, with them.
Peace,
Nova
