Does anyone know if I can take Darvocet.. low dose with Adderall XR? The Darvocet was prescribed to me by my dentist a couple days ago. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can tell me.

I can't seem to find anything on this interaction in the sites I've searched, but I know that Darvocet is an odd opioid. Like meperidine, it is fully synthetic, rather than the more usual semi-synthetic compounds like hydrocodone, and this does make a difference for some interactions. For instance, I know that Darvocet doesn't play well with serotonergic drugs due to risk of serotonin syndrome.

I can't rememer if I've read anything about its interaction with Adderall or not, I could have sworn that I'd read that they shouldn't be mixed, but I can't seem to find anything at the moment, unfortunately, so I might just be confusing it with SSRIs.
