Ok, I have a question.

I'm prescribed adderall. I never liked carrying around the big prescription bottle. So, one day in the pharmacy I saw a little silver pill container made for holding a person's nitroglycerin tabs. It's a perfect pill case. I have been carrying my adderall in it.

What if I get pulled over and searched or something? What if the police find this little unmarked bottle of adderall? I'm thinking I could be in some deep crap...

So, do I HAVE to have something with me denoting that the medication is prescribed to ME ? Anyone know the law on this?

Well, you're not technically doing anything illegal, it's not like you'd go to jail, ut it could arouse suspicion and almost certainly would result in creating a serious hassle. This is especially true if you are a male under 30, and douly true if you are of a minority ethnic or racial group, as this only increases the chance that police officers will take any excuse to harass you.

They could arrest you, or at least detain you, ecause you would e technically in possession of amphetamine without a prescription. They may not elieve you if you say that you have a valid prescription, especially if you are in the categories I descried aove. One possiility might e to tear the lael off one of your older prescription ottles and place it inside the pill holder or in your wallet. Inside the pill holder would e est, though.

My doc told me if I did not have my precrip. bottle with me, they
could arrest me for poss. of illeg. drugs, I try to keep a old empty
bottle in my glove box. I keep my adderal in my pocket or my purse. The empty bottle is just for back up if I need it. It may
matter where you live, each state has different laws. I live around Houston area. Better to be safe that sorry.

Im originally from pa. I am military police also. And my father is a prison guard so i might have sum insight to your question my friend. If you happened to get pulled over and searched and you have an UNMARKED bottle of adderal yes you could get taken in. You would most likely get charged with possesion of a controlled substance. Depending if the cop is new or old, if hes new hes more gung ho on bringin sum one in. Also if hes having a ****ed off day. Your chances of being broughten in are greater. But when you talk to your lawyer just explain it and you'll more then likely get the charges dropped. But your best bet is to not cary it around in an unmarked bottle. If the cop is that gung ho hes going to question you on it becuase hes gonna think your being suspicious for it being in an UNMARKED bottle. so hopefully that helped you.

I got a letter from My Doc that just states

"Tracy is a patient of mine, and I am treating her with......"

He gave it to me as I was a bit concerned about travelling with it. He said not to worry, I can take it around the world if I like :-)

In this state (MD), it has to be in a pill bottle bearing a valid prescription. If The police find you with schedule 2 meds in an unmarked container with no precription you are automatically going to court to explain it to the judge. Race, age, ethnics won't matter. It is automatic.
