In the definitions of the different drugs, Time magazine says that Concerta impacts Neuroepinephrine. Are they just describing the impact of stimulants in a different way? If Concerta effects the brain differently than other stimulants, i'd consider giving it a try.

I always thought Concerta was just time-released Ritalin.

I think that Time is just describing the way Concerta works in an extremely general manner. But that's just my observation - I could be wrong.
