I just was wondering if these symptoms ever happened to you. Ritalin was my lifesaver up until the end of my taking it which was a few weeks ago. Towards the end, this drug actually caused me to have more memory problems, headaches, and my eyes were always red, even after decreasing the dose. Everyone used to say"Why are your eyes all red?" This happened all of a sudden. Now that I ain't taking it, my head feels clearer and my eyes are as well. I'm not in school now, and I told my doc and i'm gonnna try adderall next cause i think the ritalin just totally gave up one me. I incresed the dose about 3 months before this happened from 40mg to 60mg, and when it happened I even went back down to 40mg and it still occured. This sucks:cool:

I was only on the generic for ritalin for a short time, so had no with draw effects when I changed drugs. But I am on Concerta now 36mg, and that seems to help me concentrate more on my work.
