Along with crossword puzzles, I have had to find ways of dealing with my inability to relax at the end of the day either with my roommates watching tv or just by my myself, with music or silence. Right now, I spend time coloring various mandalas as a sort of therapy for myself. There are many mandala coloring books available and even ink mandalas available on the internet that you can print out to color! It can serve so many purposes, all the way to deep-meditation... Does anyone else do this? Here is a good resource for more information on the healing/spiritual guidance of mandalas:

Anyone else know much on these?

Never heard of this but it looks interesting.

I did follow some links to free mazes. I find labyrinths and mazes very soothing and so does my second son, the one I suspect has ADD. So I wonder if ADD and mazes are connected at all with the part of the brain that's being used. :eyebrow: Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Mandalas are great!! as they are full of spatial relationships between shapes, which the right side of the brain has no trouble in dealing with, however the left logic side of the brain cant make sense of them...

So just by relaxing , and stilling the mind , and staring endlessly at a mandala , you are are in a state of active meditation...

Fantastic!!
