My New Doc put me on Adderal 10 a day. It is not helping at all. I asked to take the one dose of adderal a day but he thinks this 10 dose is all I need. I am losing stuff again. Like my keys, my scrips..this is what happens when I dont take enough. I cant read a paragraph in a book. this sucks but the doctor does not listen to me for anything. Noises drive me nuts. I hate it that stuff like that bothers me but I cant help it.

Hi, I am new here and just went to the doc's last week and she gave me a prescription for 30 mg of Adderall and told me to take them once a day during the week when I need to focus. It works! For the first time in my life I feel normal and the anxiety associated with the ADD is gone when I take the medication. This is my first prescription for Adderall and she felt the 30 mgs should help and they do. I just started taking it on Friday.

Is there another reason your doctor is concerned about upping the dose? My doctor did make me wait until my bloodwork came back to make sure I didn't have any liver issues and people who have high blood pressure need to be careful as well. Are there any health related issues that may have your doctor concerned?
