Hi Parents,

Just wanted to let you know that tapes on the most recent ADDA Conference are available. Especially, if you're a parent who doesn't like to wade through rather long books you might find some of the tapes a good way to get information on ADHD. Two of the workshops I attended and highly recommend were given by Tom Brown from Yale. The first is "The Unrecognized Role of Emotions in AD/HD" for $10.00. The second is "AD/HD and Comorbidities" which consists of three CD's for $30.00 plus shipping also discussed medication issues with Dr. Dodson who specializes in that area. You can obtain these at http://www.shiftsite.com/nettapes/ADDA2006.html

Other topics that might be of interest to parents are:

*Neurobiology of AD/HD
*Fidget to Focus: Discovering Your Natual Rhythm to Manage Your ADD Day
*Building a Strength-Based Life

There were a number of other interesting looking ones, that are listed at the web site, but the ones I listed are ones I personally attended and found useful. I have no connection with this other than the fact that I was at the conference and really enjoyed these workshops and thought others might too. Besides, if some of you hear them it will make for a more interesting discussion of the topic!;)
