Hi! About 10 years ago I joined Weight Watchers and bought their pedometer to encourage me to walk more. Well, I found that no matter how hard I tried to hide the pedometer under my clothes, the click sound it made drove me batty!!
I recently joined WW again and asked our Support Group leader if they had a pedometer that doesn't click and she said no.
Sigh....Does anyone know of a pedometer that operates without that annoying click sound that aggravates so many ADDers??
Thank you,
aD

Hello Addusin...I ordered one from Good Housekeepking Magazine about 4 years ago. It had their logo on it and did not click, however it worked for only a week or two before it became in-accurate. Either they were inferior products, which seems strange coming from the creators of the 'GOOD HOUSEKEEPING SEAL' , or I received 'a lemon'. I was gonna send it back.......but never did. Now I really want to get another one so please let me know if you know of one that is durable. I'd prefer no clicks too!
BTW 'Addusin', Would listening to music on a headphone help at all?

I bought one at Target (sorry, I don't have it around me at this moment) and it did NOT make a clicking sound.

Really?
Hey since I've been to Target so many times and have come up empty, can you please post again when you find it and please tell me the make and model number?
Thank you so much!!!

I got one at a one of those huge sports stores a few years ago and it didn't make a clicking sound. The brand was Sportline, but I can't remember what model and I don't have it anymore. But it was a digital one, and I don't see any reason for a digital pedometer to make any noise so maybe you could try looking for one like that? If you google digital pedometer, I know there are lots out there.

addusin,
Target and Wal-Mart have them in their small exercise departments. I know Wal-Mart has several different brands at various prices. I shop at a Super Target, I don't know if that makes a difference.
I searched target.com

That's what I thought too. The one I got from WW years ago was digital and it clicked.... :(

Thanks for the links!
Which one of the target one is yours? (the non clicking one)?
BTW, the clicking one I got at WW was also digital, so I know that is not a shoe-in.
I also know that the clicking doesn't bother MOST people, so it's not likely they would advertise it's "clickability" on the package.
Thanks, Monica
