My landlord is in the habit of cooking his dinner at midnight or sometimes one in the morning. He cooks with a lot of spices and garlic so the smell tends to fill the house. This always wakes me up. I have to get up at 6 so this has become a major pain for me. I have trouble enough getting to sleep as it is. The last thing I need is to wake up after just getting to sleep. Is it possible that I an hypersensitive to smells? The greasy feeling in the air that accompanies this cooking also bothers me. Could it be that this is also hypersensitivity?
Yeap Hypersensitivity!! I wake if a car drives by, or someone uses the bathroom, or I hear my upstairs neighbors walking (He works end shift)

All this time I thought I was normal! :D I guess this would not bother most people. Strange!

My wife, also ADD, is hypersensitive to smell... cat litter, perfume, or smoke driver her BANANAS...
I'm not like that, but I think it's because my allergies are often acting up, I can't smell much of anything.
