i'm purely amazed by how dense some people can be.
some of the things i hear people say when walking down the halls at school...jeez.
I'm not a violent person, but sometimes it just makes you want to smack the person in the back of the head ya' know?
this is one of the most recent examples:

carly: *playing with hair, notices a few strands coming out*
- "guys, my hair's falling out. I think I have cancer"

keri: - "carly, your hair doesn't fall out from cancer, it falls out from chemo"

carly: (totally serious here)
- "guys, i think i have chemo"

now...is anyone else bothered by that!!!?

Anyone who has such things as the greatest single complaint in life is living in the kind of bliss that ought not be disturbed right away..... but probably will be sooner or later...

ME :D

I'm not sure she's meaning this is the biggest complaint in her life, just something that annoys her...

I get upset about people's insensitivity with things too. Like when they are making fun of disabilities or illnesses...some things just should not be joked about.

Wait! Did that girl actually think she had cancer or chemo? Or was she joking? Would still drive me nuts either way, but then again, if she was serious, I say stupid stuff all the time! :o

lol, no, it's not the biggest complaint in my life, it just royally annoys me, so thanks for clearing that up chloe = P
she was totally serious about it too!
the average man loses 40 hairs a day, doesn't mean he has cancer now does it.

and it's right that certain things just shouldn't be joked about.
one thing i really hate is when kids my age always say "oh, that's gay"

the entire school had heard about her saying it within a few days lol

I would crack up and possibly expand on the hair-loss concept, resulting in ROFL by at least me but usually also my 10 year old ADDer. She and I have a term for that moment now, when we know we are just about to lose control over the hilarity and start that process, we look at one another and say "Let's RUN!" (cheesy video game reference) in a precise tone of voice. Sometimes that pulls us back before we totally lose it.

For anyone wondering about the video game reference? It refers to the beginning of Kingdom Hearts and a race that suddenly occurs for what appears to be no apparent or logical reason. This, for the two of us, relates logically to a moment such as "I think I have chemo"...so there ya have it, "Let's RUN!", or "Gee that was dumb but they didn't know it so let's not lose our minds just now" :D.
