I was diagnosed with ADHD inattentive type last Thursday and just started taking Rubifen today (which I think is the same as Ritalin?).
My question is, how am I supposed to feel? About an hour after taking it I noticed my mood lifted significantly and felt like a bit of a grimace, smiling a lot more than usual. This lasted about 30-45 minutes, then returned to normal. I think I am slightly more focused and less distracted, but not as much as I would have expected. :confused: This is only my first dose (10mg), so not sure if it is supposed to feel different over time or maybe I need a higher dose - my psychiatrist told me I can go up to 20mg 3 times per day.
