I read this in the book Delivered from Distraction by Hallowell p210:
4. Some research suggests a possible correlation between low levels of zinc and high levels of magnesium and the symptoms of ADD. However, you should not add zinc or restrict magnesium without the supervision of a doctor. Adding or subtracting these indiscriminately from your diet could lead to dangerous problems.
...
6. A safe way to address the issue of vitamins and minerals (like the aforementioned zinc and magnesium and fat-soluble vitamins) is simply to take a multivitamin everyday that contains the recommended daily allowance of all the vitamins and minerals mentioned above, as well as all the others that humans need.
Hope this is helpful.
Kind regards,
Francis
