So I was reading an article the other day that discussed how some stores in the UK have these buzzing devices that only younger (usually teenage) people can hear. It's so annoying for them that many don't llinger around the area for too long. But older folks, since their hearing has deminished, have no problem. Evidently, your hearing starts to falter after 20. The link below was from the article, and the autor claimed that he could not hear the sound. I'm 26, and most of my friends are in that age range (20s-early 30s) so they could hear the sound--
Click on the link, and let us know if you can hear anything, and your age....

That MP3 is broken. It won't play on some players.
In any case, My hearing is fubar, I'm 52, but can still hear a 20 KHz tome, but not very well. My guess is that the mosquito ringtone is not going to be inaudible by everyone over 20.........
ME :D

Man that's annoying! Sort of like a dog whistle that only dogs can hear. I still have that ringing in my ear O_O
edit: I'm a teenager and can hear the sound, but I heard some elders can hear it, and some teens can't!
