i was on 40 mg of ritalin (20 twice a day) about a year ago, then i switched to adderall, now im back on ritalin. i took 20 mg and i feel kinda shaky and sleepy...i remember when i first started on ritalin i built up my dosage from like 5 mg to ten to twenty etc...to 40....over the course of a couple weeks. so should i build it up again like that, is going straight to 40 suddenly going to shock my system? anyone know what the deal is

i was also on 40 mg of adderall but it had some bad side effects for me(made me pull out my hair)ritalin doesnt do that...i just wish i could get it to work like it worked for me the first time i took it about 2 years ago. i havnt taken it in a year...
