I have been taking 80 mg of Fluoxetine daily since January. Recently 70 mgs of Adderall was introduced into the mix. I was on Adderall years ago but nothing else.

I have read there is a risk with the Adderall and Fluoxetine combo.
Is this true? It's been over a month and I feel fine but am worried now.
Any info would be great. Please help.

I hadn't heard of a risk -- what did you hear? Stimulents are often prescribed with Prozac. According to Hallowell and Ratey in Answers to Distraction they often have a synergestic effect together work very well. They were specifically referring to Ritalin but I hadn't heard anything negative about the combo with Adderall, but I'm not an expert in psychpharmacology. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?

I am also on flouoxitine and amphetamine salts...I haven't heard anything about risks and both my GP and psychiatrist know I am on both, I would think (hope) they would be aware of any potential problems before prescribing them together.Where did you hear this?
