I seem to have a knack for remembering old weird avert jingles..:D
I constantly have them popping into my head, yey no-one else seems to know what I am on about..LOL
The MINI add from the 70's (mini cooper cars)
I LOVE MY MIN, I LOVE MY CAR
I DRIVE IT EVERYWHERE,
I HAVE MORE FUN THAN ANYONE,
JUST DRIVING HERE AND THERE
OH.. MINI, MINI ,MINI ,MINI,
MINI, MINI ,MINI ,MINI :p :p
I taught this to my nephews while we were on holidays, and they sang it over and over and over and annoyed EVERYONE hehehehe

This seems to happen to a LOT of us Tracy. My father has recently "admitted" to having been "a very hyperactive child" and "had a short attention span and still do" ;)...IE if its genetic, he has got it in spades himself, which totally jives with everything I remembered about him during my childhood.
Picture, if you will, the high-paid executive for Mack Trucks, a systems analyst (hmmmm, how significant is THAT?), in his nice woolen suit (charcoal grey with a barely visible pinstripe), nice pink button-down shirt, funkadooly tie (purchased by his only daughter on impulse and adored by father at first sight)...
His workaday blues have ended and he arrives at the family camp, strides up stairs boasting a grin that lights up all eyes on him and he utters:
RAISE YOUR HAND! IF YOU'RE SURE!!!!!!!!
(Sure is a deodorant and yep, that's a jingle and yep, yep, my meds have not quite kicked in and ya know what? Daddy is loaded with ADD heeheehee).

I cannot think "Yikes!" without then thinking "Fruit striped gum, it's the yummy fruity one!" From the Fruit Stripes gum commercials!

Tracy when I was a youngin and cartoons only came on on Saturday mornings (yes I am old!) they had these blurbish bits that came on between cartoons called "Schoolhouse Rock" that set the times tables, some American history, some science facts and some grammar facts to music.
Long story short, to this day I can recite the 3 times tables and the Preamble to the American Constitution according to the music I memorised way back then. Something they might wanna consider in the schooling systems for people like me, huh?
