I wish I could dance... :-( It's about the only social phobic quality I have. As soon as I even have the hint that I'm in a crowd I go into "invisimode". I suspect that a concerted effort to "desensitize" myself to this fear would kill it, but it's harder than it sounds.

It's easier than you think, just feel fluid and move to the beat and if the beat is too fast than move to every other beat, and while on the dance floor look around to watch the good dancers and borrow some of there moves -they don't mind a bit :D :D

Oh I can move fine... It's an anxiety issue. Kinda odd in a way. None of the stuff that triggers anxiety in me makes much sense, and none of the stuff that "SHOULD" trigger it does. Lots of times in the course of doing the Navy thing I should have been scared and never have been... A public restroom though used to be the end of the world. LOL! The meds keep all that stuff pretty muted now, but some stuff bothers me even on them. Like sticking out in a crowd (Something dancing makes me feel like I'm doing).

ahh I see the difference, I love to stand out, I love for people to watch (as long as they're admiring LOL)
I love the limelight if I'm doing something that is worthy of standing out.
I have danced alot -I do mean alot - and you know what they say if you practice:D and I happen to love it.

I can see that the lack of any interest from the group means that there is a severe lack of interest in this thread

Maybe not too many people like Techno music, is all.



Start talkin' about other types of dance music.

Maybe that'll bring the crowd in.
