I was taking 20mgs of Paxil. After talking to the doctor I went down to 10mgs for a week, and then down to nothing. It has now been 5 days since I have taken the Paxil. About 3 days into not taking it anymore I began to feel a little sick. I was also feeling a little cloudy. This led me into looking at the withdraw symptoms of Paxil. I found several forums about the topic but very few articles on the internet. Every day my symptoms have gotten worse. They were coming and going but today I think I had about 2 hours which I felt normal. The symptoms are worse now in how I feel. It is like having the flu, and having a lot of confusion. I feel more emotional, with anger, and frustration towards myself and how I feel. I have nervousness and feel alone in that no one around me knows what it feels like or understands. My stress level is high. The question I have is are these all signs of withdraw symptoms. I am frustrated in the lack of information I am finding on the internet. My fear is that some of these are not withdraw symptoms but instead feelings that will not go away. I do not want to think my nervousness and stress is do to the withdraws when in fact it is something that I will have because the Paxil was helping me to not feel that way. It sucks right now because I feel like crap and I am confused on how long I should stay calm and wait to see if this stuff goes away. It is hard to go about everyday stuff feeling like this and to not really have any answers on how long to expect it. I am hoping someone out there has went through this and can tell me if they experienced the same thing, and if so did it go away and have you been able to stay of medications. Thanks for the ears. I am in the teaching/coaching profession and I do not know how I can do my job the right way feeling like this.

I'd talk to a doc as soon as you can if the symptom get worse or stay the same without decreasing.

Today I was a little better, things did not seem to quit as bad. I did take 10ml of Paxil this morning. I am not sure how quick this would take effect... maybe it helped me today? I thought I needed to give it try after how I felt the day before. In the morning I am talking to the Doc
