I just jumped out of a plane today, for the first time ever. Not a tandem dive either, the accelerated free fall! All I have to say is WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!

They ARE both fun, Trace !!

If you get a chance, you should try doing either.

Start wtih the hot air ballon ride. I did that about three years ago, and it was really fun !

Both are a little bit costly, but worth the adventure ! (0:

WOW! Relvinnian, what a ride!

Was this just for fun or are you in military training? Or a dare? :p

Just kidding, that sounds exhilerating.

Fun, wasn't it?

I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane a few years back too, except it was a tandem jump. Saw the curvature of the earth as well as NYC (and I was in a good distance into Jersey too).

Booyah.

The air balloon is really fun !
You move faster than you think, too.

The only thing, is it's not as peaceful, as you believe, due to loud 'whooosh' sound of the flame, blowing hot air into the balloon, to keep it constantly inflated, and unless you rent the balloon for a private party of two or three people- it can get a little jammed inside the basket.

But looking at the scenery below you, makes up for all that.

For as adventurous as I can be, I haven't gotten the courage to try bungee jumping, either, Trace. (0:

When I was on vacation in S. Padre, TX, there was a company, that had a bungee jumping rig, set up in a parking lot, LOL!

I'm sure if I do try it, 'twon't be in that settin', LOL!

I don't think anyone, should be foolish enough to ever try any 'jumps/dives', without taking the necessary lessons, prior to doing so.
Just my opinion.

BASE jumping is the sport of using a parachute to jump from fixed objects. "BASE" is an acronym that stands for the four categories of objects from which one can jump:
(B)uilding
(A)ntenna (an uninhabited tower such as an aerial mast)
(S)pan (a bridge, arch or dome)
(E)arth (a cliff or other natural formation)

BASE jumping is much more dangerous than skydiving from aircraft and is currently regarded as a fringe extreme sport.

I've done bungee jumping from one of those rigs.

I can't skydive because of LASIK, but I never really wanted to do that anyway. (Something about the air pressure, I can't scuba dive either. Unfortunately I do wish I had gone scuba diving before the surgery).

I would love to do a hot air balloon ride sometime though.

That video gives me a rush, how many jumps do you train for to base jump like that, how much do you have invested in equipment, That looks so trippy I would LOVE it - Currently I ski to get a rush
